Q: When and where is the Royal Summer Show?
A: The Summer Spectacular Show is scheduled for Saturday, August 18, 2018. The show will be located at Royal Gymnastics, 2151 N. Tracy Blvd, Tracy, CA 95376
Q: What time should I arrive?
A: Performers need to arrive at least 45 minutes prior to showtime.
Upon arrival, performers will enter on the side door backstage (Royal door near Tracy Blvd/ near Mail N More)and proceed to their assigned area on the floor. Performers will be checked in by Royal Staff.
Q: What time do the doors open?
A: Doors open 30 minutes prior to show time with open seating. The show will be 45 minutes long. Performers must stay until the completion of final bows.
Q: Where do I pick up my child after the show?
A: Performers aged 3-7 will be picked up from the Royal floor, while ages 8 & up will be released to walk to their parents.
Q: When is dress rehearsal?
A: A mandatory dress rehearsal (full uniform (leotard or Ninja t-shrit, but hair does not need to be in a bun) is scheduled for Friday, August 17 from 7:00 pm -8:30 pm. Parents are welcome to stay for the dress rehearsal. Please have them wear the Royal Summer Show leotard or ninja shirt. A professional photographer will be available to take pictures of your child/ren in their leotard or ninja shirt before and after dress rehearsal on Friday, August 17, 2018. Please sign up at the front desk for a time slot.
Q: Can we still purchase additional tickets?
A: Additional tickets may be purchased at the front desk and there are limited tickets available. There were be limited tickets sold at the door for $10. Lost or stolen tickets are non-refundable. Ticket sales and seating is available on a first come first served basis.
Q: What do the performers wear during the show?
A: Girls/Gymnasts: Wear your Royal Summer Leo. Your hair should be in a bun with a scrunchie (red or pink).
Boys/Ninjas: Wear your Royal Summer Show Ninja shirt and headband with black shorts.
Q: Can I take pictures and videotape during the performance?
There will be NO flash photography during the show. Flash photos are potentially blinding to performers and distracting to audience members. A photographer and videographer will be on site for both shows. You are more than welcome to videotape during dress rehearsal. Videos and photos are allowed, but please turn off the flash mode.
Q: Does my performer need to stay for the entire show?
A: Yes. All performers will do final bows at the close of the show.
Q: Are concessions and apparel available for purchase?
A: A concession stand will have water, snacks & candy for purchase. The limited edition Royal Summer t-shirt order forms will be available at the front desk. Apparel will be available for purchase during the show.
Q: What is show etiquette?
- There will be NO entering or exiting during performances. Doors will be opened between performances only.
- Your applause is requested for each and every performer, even those who do not belong to you. For many performers, this is their very first time on a stage and they need to feel supported and appreciated.
- Turn off all noisy electronic devices and keep them in silent mode until the end of the recital. Respect others around you by not talking, standing up or walking through the aisles during performances, and by keeping little ones quiet during the show.
